had my prom last last night.

went out of hse at 'bout 11 plus to meet baoxian and deborah at sengkang interchange, before we set off to samquee's hse. and deborah was late lah! hmph.

'nwae my lunch was 3 takoyaki and a few seaweed fries [or whatever you call it].

'nwae we went to mandarin hotel in time and changed. and of course, met all the chiobus...

[sigh, juz couldn't elaborate much...]

and took photos until the legs and mouth became numb [after all the squatiing and smiling]

and the dinner started late.

we had a lovely walk into the ballroom before we all settled down for the speeches... then the going up on stage to get the certs... and listened to diana ser's speech. and she went smth like, "you can never go wrong with a st nicks girls"

cool huh?

so we had our first few courses, then yining said she wanna put on her contacts... and that was when i discovered, to my horror, that i was abit cockeyed. haha.... weird huh? i was like so franctic that yining had to keep telling me 'everything is going to be fine' while she herself tried to put in her contacts...

we ended up spending hours in the hotel room fixing the eyes lah... until mingyee the saviour came to help yining put on the contacts [well she didn't exactly put the lenses but she taught yining how to do it] and joanne had to help me put foundation 'cos i look like some girl being dumped by her bf and cried all night until my mascara ruined my face.

so we went back to the ballroom, yining with her contacts and me with my specs [)=], thinking "everything is going to be fine". until yining told me she can't see properly and her left eye was totally blurred. in the end we discovered we by mistake had changed our contacts. what the!! and me yining and anqi had to go back to the hotel room again to change back hers...

we missed the grad songs btw but unfortunately managed to catch the candlelighting session.

then it was all taking photos while i tried my best to finish the dessert... -.-|||

anyway i suddenly made a decision to stay overnight... and then... like that lor... haha... didn't sleep much anyway ['cos i usually dun sleep much outside house] and my toe bled while i walked to the mrt station on the way home.
and so now i have 1 wounded toe and 1 blister on my feet [all b'cos of my cheap slippers] and smth like a hole in mt left thumb [ but now it's sealed 'cos i put a plaster over it... which caused part of my nail polish to disappear]. lovely prom aftermath.
